Why do you want to topple Princess Celestia?
I thought your original purpose was to get Celestia to notice Luna, which worked
so your mission was technically accomplished.
Why do you persist?
Our original purpose was to make EVERYpony love Luna. Following Celestia’s cruel banishment, We have also made it Our goal to punish her for what she did.
I...I am sorry. You see we could not be there for our Luna, we cannot tell you why we went because it would trouble both our offspring.
You see Luna was not ready to be joint ruler quite yet, she was younger than Celestia and still learning to control her magic. We feared for her being such a shy foal, and the night reflected that. We wanted her to have peace in her life until she was ready. We gave her the night so she could paint with the stars, Celestia was always a clever filly but Luna was the artistic one and we wanted her to know her talents could produce beauty.
We had hoped Luna would relish watching over the ponies as they slept as she was also very protective of her sister. She was shy but with Celestia around she gained confidence and with it she would often stand up for her sister.
But I made a mistake, I should have know and artist requires an audience and while we were away she grew lonely, and you know the rest.
I suppose that is why I was repelled by your image, you represent my failings in the past and the effect is has had on my own flesh and blood.

If you get a new stable host body from that... g guy who has a weird spelled name, does that mean your going to leave the other pony body behind?
We don’t think We will take him up on his offer. Having a body We can ditch and move around uninhibited from is pretty handy. Besides, we still have your challenge to complete.
Speaking of bodies, We hope our puppet is doing fine. We really did overdo things a little with that whiskey. We left it in the care of the staff at Ponyville General, so it should be alright.

Favourite Daughter? My Dear you could not be more wrong, Luna and Celestia sure our affections equally why do you think we made the moon for Luna? a perfect mirror of the sun. Luna was always the shy one, but she acted so much like the moon when she was a foal. It was always Celestia who brought her out of her shell, much like the sun provides the moon with it's light.
You and I both care for Luna and we both admire her work; her contellations were something I was always proud of.

You do not want my Charity? While it is admirable to want to stand on your own 4 hooves, you do still appear to require help rather than wanting it.
While I cannot offer you a godhood I can offer you a stable body, I was reminded of the tale of a creature created by evil means carving out their own path and would like to see if such a thing could happen for my daughters creation.

We suppose We must be honest with you, and admit that if you do give Us a stable body, We will use it in our quest to undermine your favourite daughter’s rule.
Besides, until We become one once more with beloved Luna, We are best served by maintaining Our puppet and Our amorphous form.
You know, Your Majesty (if that is the proper way to address you - if not, please forgive my ignorance and correct me), many of us humble ponyfolk DO love Luna, as well as your beautiful night! And please don't take our choosing to sleep during your night as offense. It is simply that under the cover of night is when we feel safest. During the day we are vulnerable and exposed. But under the cover of your darkness is when we feel comfortable and safe.
Your night is very much appreciated, Your Highness. I think I speak for all ponies when I say this.
Then why did barely anypony notice when beloved Luna and I were banished? And when We returned, all anypony said was “where’s Celestia,” never “welcome back Luna!”
Too much
So, as We have recently learned, drinking an entire bottle of Granny Smith’s Sweet Apple Whiskey while inhabiting a body recently awoken from a coma is a very bad idea. We have temporarily abandoned our puppet under care in a safe location, at least until the worst of the alcohol has time to work itself through her system.
Now if we could only remember what We were doing tonight. Would somepony care to fill us in?
