All very good points you raise. Though I think if your host body is capable of being impregnated and carrying a foal to term then it would be yours as long as it was by your will it was conceived. As for it being affected by your innate magical nature, it probably would given that it is your magics flowing throughout your hosts body. Would the affects be harmful? I personally doubt it.
Quite honestly, until We try it there’s no way to tell what will happen. Magic and pregnancy tends to mix in unpredictable ways.
The Sun-flail could work in a roundabout sort of way if you guided it along the ley-lines then released it and uses the momentum to bring it down. It would destroy everything but at least it would be glorious.
Also, you don't want to get pregnant? Not even with Arcel?
That would really be more of “flinging Equestria into the sun” than “flinging the sun at Equestria”, but We suppose the results would be the same…
As for the other thing, We don’t even know if We can become pregnant. When We are outside of any host, We are incorporeal and lack the required equipment, so that’s out of the question. Our host body might be able to, but would the resulting foal really be Ours, or would it just be the foal of whoever used to own said body? And if it is Ours, would that mean We could possess a stallion and impregnate a mare? Would any foal brought to term within a body We possess be affected by Our innate magical nature?
There are simply too many unanswered questions for Us to even think about having a foal.

It would never work. He would need something heavier than the sun to counterbalance it if you ever hoped to swing it.
Now the moon, on the other hand, that could work. Just use all of Equestria as the counterbalance.
