We will need to closely supervise her for the first week or so (they tend to be very literally minded at first, which gets them in trouble), but after that she can be given orders and carry them out alone (so long as they’re simple enough). She doesn’t really have a mind as ponies understand it, though, so complex tasks are out unless We assume direct control.
It has to be a name We think accurately represents them. Giving them a name is the most important part of the binding ritual, and not to be taken lightly.
