To which Nyx are you referring? The character in an admittedly good bit of fiction in which We are reincarnated as a mortal filly? The human goddess of the night? The personification of the psychological drive towards apoptosis?
Or perhaps you’re referring to the pet name Typewryter seems to have chosen for Us. If this is the case, We heartily disagree. We much prefer Nightmare Moon.

... I have a question... for you.... have you ever... considered that the one named... Arcel... is just staying close to you... for the eventual gifts that may come of it?... If he truely cared for you... why would he always make sure... to mention that he... will not stand in your way... no matter what you choose... yet will always be by your side... when we both know... your goals are to conquer.
We don’t think he is doing it simply for power. It is entirely obvious to one with Our magically-enhanced senses that he is sexually attracted to Us. This only leaves two possible explanations for his actions:
- He is in love with Us.
- He is being led around by his libido.
Judging by his significant skill with magic, we suspect he should be intelligent enough to avoid option 2 (though his actions as fem-Arcel have made Us consider it a little more seriously). And really, the line between love and lust is so fine that they might as well be the same thing.
A million thanks be upon you, o generous Goddess of the night. Your tender mercy is not in vain.
Undoubtedly living in a dungeon beneath the surface will not soften our hateful image, but being despised inside your embrace of dark and encased in stone is preferable to sharing the surface with the horrors who bear our name.

If you’re feeling industrious, you could try clearing out some of the older tunnels and expanding the dungeon. The ground beneath the ruins is a veritable maze of disused passages and forgotten subbasements.

Have you asked her about that? Worst deeds are always done for someone's good. And if she won't like it... will you force her to be with you because your vengeance is so important to you? You told Celestia choose her duty instead of her family... Are you going to do the pretty same thing?
Just to be clear: if Luna misses you too, I think it would be good to have you reunited... as long as she is able to control your feelings rather than being controlled by them.
It’s mostly a moot point anyway. The only ways We could possibly return to Luna would be:
- She invites Us back.
- She is very badly injured, either physically or mentally. (We could never bring ourselves to injure her, not even if it meant We could return to her)
- We somehow gain control over the Elements of Harmony. (We will try, of course, but it is a very unlikely scenario. Even if We kill the current holders, there’s all sorts of safeguards in place to prevent just anypony from coming along and using them)
