*Nightmare Moon chases Bass as far as the edge of the Everfree Forest, then lets him go.*

*Nightmare Moon collapses to the ground, exhausted. She rests for a moment, coming up with a plan.*

*Getting back on her hooves, she slowly makes her way to the glade housing La Bella Luna, Luna’s memorial tree. She touches her horn to it’s bark, and begins to drain it, pulling some of its thousand years of life into herself. One by one, the leaves and blossoms wither and die. At last, she pulls her horn away. The tree is in a sorry state, and while it will eventually recover, it will be another thousand years before it appears as beautiful as it once was.*
*Nightmare moon sighs, looking at the ruined beauty of the tree, then takes to the air, flying after Dark Descent.*

*She chases him through the Everfree, making roots and branches catch at him and terrifying faces pop out of the dark as he runs. She doesn’t do anything to seriously injure him, though.*
Amethyst: *crys out, shattering and being utterly destroyed(... well that was unexpected)*
DD: *glares* I have gathered enough, Begone! *blasts her with a burst of stolen energy, knocking her from the link, on the outside, the small body had first changed back to Amethyst Drills, then as he gained power, the color scheme matched Dark Descent, quickly turning and rushing off as she recovers, laughing*
*The draining combined with the effort of destroying Amethyst has left Nightmare Moon barely able to stand. The colt she kidnapped has fled.*
I… I’ll kill you… *Her horn flickers, but she cannot manage even the simplest spell.*
