Fire control teams have almost finished containing the blaze and there were no reported wildlife casualties, with the exception of an overly territorial manticore.
As we speak labour teams are moving into position for the final phase of the operation. We are ready to begin construction upon your command.

We sent beaters ahead of the flamethrower crews to try and scare off the wildlife. Though We do intend to cull back some of the animal population eventually, especially the larger creatures. It’s really gotten out of hand with this mismanagement. Do you know animals actually starve to death out here occasionally?
Thought it would make you happy to know that i've filled the forest with giant fireproof and impenetrable Dragon-spiders.

We’re glad you understand. Ponies can’t help but clop to Us. We’re just too beautiful.
But the Everfree Forest is one of the few dark places during the day.
One of the only places that provides protection from the light of the sun.
Don’t worry. We’re going to establish proper weather control as well. We’ll allow only one hour of sun per day (to keep things growing and fend off rickets) to trickle through the clouds.
Why would you want to burn down the Everfree Forest?
