No, I don’t think she did. *steps forward* Luna, in her form when connected with you, did have intentions of bringing what she thought was beauty and eternal night to Equestria. *smiles a bit* But there is a problem with that, for she was doing so not only because she thought she was doing good, but also in spite of her sister, she didn’t understand that ponies tend to panic when others try to force things upon them. There were wrong doings on both sides I admit, the ponies for not respecting the night for one, but trying to force them causes a reaction.
*nods, looks back to Nightmare* They used the elements upon you not out of anger or for the purpose of destroying you, but out of fear and the goal of saving what they had known to be right and normal. You know exactly how they feel now Nightmare, it wasn’t intentional, but they took away from you what you found normal and right, and that is what cuased the anger in the first place, and I admit, that was wrong of them, but what you were doing was also wrong, and the only way to gain forgiveness and fix the pain… is to seek forgiveness yourself. *nods, smiling still, hoping this isn’t going over board, brain having clicked and just kept going*
Nightmare…. *turns to the dragons*….. the answer is neither to devour the owl in revenge, or to treat it like a pet, befriend the owl, move past the anger and in return be forgiven yourselves, the animals that fought against your mother are not cruel, and if you seek forgiveness, and tell them of your pain, they will do what they can to make ammends in return….

We suppose We understand now, where Our dreams have been coming from. Even if she hurt Us, Twilight Sparkle acted how she did because she was corrupted by Our sister from a young age, shaped to become her servant. We should not let the flaws imbued by her upbringing cast a dark cloud over her obvious good points. After all, she was good enough to get your attention, was she not?
