Whenever you decide to make your move to take over, what will you do with Celestia and Luna? Is there any option for dealing with Twilight and her friends that won't involve killing them? I really don't want to see anypony die from this and hope that there is a more less harmful solution.

There is nothing that will allow Us to keep Celestia alive. We simply will not be able to sleep easily with her still around. However, if the Elements of Harmony were destroyed We would not have to kill Twilight and her friends, though We would keep them close to Us for observation, and maybe occasional ‘games’.
