Firstly, We are already banished by the most ancient and powerful magic in all Equestria. We doubt you could do a more terrible thing to Us than separate Us from our beloved Luna.
Secondly, such magic always has a cost. Are you really willing to pay it for mere vengeance?

We won’t do anything further to said filly, We promise! We even agree not to do anything to impede the pony currently running to her aid. Everything we’ve done is for her own good anyway, the night is so much more beautiful than the day.
