Love can breed real respect, loyalty(not the same as doing something out of fear if you don't), and trust in the leaders decision. You see what I am getting at here? They might seem the same on the surface, but the reprocussions of both are quite varried from one another.
While We must continue Our plans to rid the world of Our sister and return to beloved Luna, Our time is not so pressing that We cannot make a detour to prove you and Type wrong.
What shall We do? Provide us with a quest that you think will prove your point, and we shall preform it, so in the end you will see that you are wrong.
Alongside the Element of Honesty, the holder of the Element of Loyalty (a pegasi known as Rainbow Dash) serves as the muscle for Celestia’s little group. Unlike Applejack, however, Rainbow Dash matches physical ability with an average to above-average intellect.
In terms of speed and endurance she is unmatched by any pegasi We have yet encountered (though not quite up to divine standards, Luna could beat her quite easily). Additionally, she has quite a forceful personality, and possesses a self-confidence that will prove difficult to undermine. This is especially true following her success at the Best Young Flyer’s Competition (prior to this she showed some signs of cracking, but her victory has served to boost her confidence beyond its previous levels).
Her confidence, however, also serves as her greatest weakness. Though she is the best in terms of speed and endurance, in terms of agility she is as clumsy as a first-flight filly. As her confidence has grown to new heights she has begun to attempt increasingly dangerous stunts. With an already large history of crashes and injuries in her past, it is only a matter of time before she will have an accident that will cripple or kill her. (Or at least, such an accident could be arranged…)

Everypony thinks fear and love are different. We don’t thinks so. When We watch the other ponies, the symptoms of fear towards another pony and the symptoms of love towards another pony seem the same. When you love another pony, you pay attention to them and try to keep them happy. When you fear another pony, you pay attention to them and you definitely try to keep them happy.
The last thing Celestia said to Us before she banished Us was “I love you,” but We know from her actions what she really meant was “I fear you”.
We’ve never loved anypony but Luna. And We’ve never feared anypony but Luna.
Now We start to get to those of Celestia’s champions who’s appointment makes at least SOME sense to Us.
The Element of Generosity is held by one Rarity Belle, an admittedly quite attractive little filly, the owner of a major shop in Ponyville. That shop is clearly a cover, as Rarity is, in fact, one of the most skilled psywar experts We have ever encountered. Given that she is currently undercover as a professional fashion designer, we must conclude that she is in fact a high-ranking member of Celestia’s secret police.
Fortunately, she is not without her flaws as well. She is an extreme narcissist, susceptible to flattery and fearful of anything that harms her appearance or popularity. Her relationships with some of the other elements (specifically with Fluttershy and Applejack) have become strained at times as a result. Additionally, from what little truth can be gathered from the various tabloids it seems that she briefly became involved with the so-called prince Blueblood. (How he can call himself a prince We do not know. He is certainly no relation of Our beloved Luna’s. Perhaps he is the result of one of Celestia’s little perversions.) A surprise attack using flattery as cover, or some sort of plan using her dalliance with Blueblood as bait, would probably be the best ways to remove this otherwise difficult target.
(As an aside, among all the elements she is the one We most suspect to be susceptible to Our influence. Perhaps, instead of being eliminated, she can be made to join Us.)

The whole reason We are doing this is so that everypony will love us! (Well, that was it at first. Vengeance against Celestia has been added to Our goals.) That is why we frighten and intimidate, so ponies will stay up to see Our night. Fear is just like love, right?
