Naturally, We could use Our magic to purge Ourselves of any poison. But that would require Our concentration. We wished to try out the effects of alcohol on Our new body, and by the time We realised We had ingested too much, the alcohol was already inhibiting Our ability to do precise magic (like a detox spell).
