We don’t know for sure. You were attacked by something while attempting to save Luna. What that could be, We don’t know… We know of a number of beings capable of inflicting such injuries, but most of those couldn’t enter Equestria without Celestia, Luna, and Us knowing about it. Of those beings, the most likely culprit would be another alicorn… or less likely, Twilight Sparkle.
