Imagine having someone who is parent, friend, and beloved all in one. Then imagine that they were killed… no, worse than killed. Separated from you. They’re still alive, but you can’t connect to them and relate to them like you used to.
Wouldn’t you hate whoever did that to you?
What Twilight and the other Elements did to Us is far, far worse.
We would sacrifice every moment, every joy we have experienced as a separate being, to return things to the way they were.

We would have thought Our appearance in Ponyville would cause a general panic and riots. In reality, though, most ponies simply go home and lock their doors and wait for Us to leave.
Now if We go into somepony’s store, then We get the reaction We would expect. You should have seen the look on the Cakes’ faces when We walked into Sugarcube Corner and ordered some apple fritters.
