And now We’re stuck having to use it. She warned Us, after she gave Us the first seed, that if We let it sit too long inside Us after it’s fully grown, it will eat Us from the inside like a cancer. And even if she lied about that, We promised her We’d use it. Even if the kindly ones don’t hold us to that promise, We imagine Grandmother would be more than capable of doing it herself.

What was it that happened? Grandmother guaranteed Us that if We used it properly Celestia would not stand a chance of defeating Us ever again, but she was a little vague about the specifics.

According to Grandmother, it grows within Us over time, drawing a small amount of Our magic to help it grow. Then, when it’s fully grown and We’re facing Celestia, We speak an incantation and it blossoms, infusing Us with incredible power, power that could give even Galaxiour pause, more than enough to defeat Celestia singlehanded.
