*Arcel tapped his hoof lightly, then smiled* So thats it… *looks to Nightmare, then back to the dragons* Surprised it took me this long to work it out…… tell me, what did your mother do, did she explain anything to the ponies, did she ask them if they were okay with it? No, I don’t think she did. *steps forward* Luna, in her form when connected with you, did have intentions of bringing what she thought was beauty and eternal night to Equestria. *smiles a bit* But there is a problem with that, for she was doing so not only because she thought she was doing good, but also in spite of her sister, she didn’t understand that ponies tend to panic when others try to force things upon them. There were wrong doings on both sides I admit, the ponies for not respecting the night for one, but trying to force them causes a reaction.
*nods, looks back to Nightmare* They used the elements upon you not out of anger or for the purpose of destroying you, but out of fear and the goal of saving what they had known to be right and normal. You know exactly how they feel now Nightmare, it wasn’t intentional, but they took away from you what you found normal and right, and that is what cuased the anger in the first place, and I admit, that was wrong of them, but what you were doing was also wrong, and the only way to gain forgiveness and fix the pain… is to seek forgiveness yourself. *nods, smiling still, hoping this isn’t going over board, brain having clicked and just kept going*
Nightmare…. *turns to the dragons*….. the answer is neither to devour the owl in revenge, or to treat it like a pet, befriend the owl, move past the anger and in return be forgiven yourselves, the animals that fought against your mother are not cruel, and if you seek forgiveness, and tell them of your pain, they will do what they can to make ammends in return….

Black Dragon: But it’s just so cute! I what to hug it and pet it and love it forever!
White Dragon: …I suppose it really wasn’t the owl’s fault. It was the snake’s fault.
*Nightmare Moon sighs.*
We suppose We understand now, where Our dreams have been coming from. Even if she hurt Us, Twilight Sparkle acted how she did because she was corrupted by Our sister from a young age, shaped to become her servant. We should not let the flaws imbued by her upbringing cast a dark cloud over her obvious good points. After all, she was good enough to get your attention, was she not?

White Dragon: Well… I’m not even very hungry. An owl attacked our mother once, and ever since then I’ve just hated owls.
Black Dragon: Well, I don’t care what owls might have done in the past. I don’t even care that the owl probably will never like me. I just know that owl is cute and I want it.
*Nightmare Moon turns to the black dragon.*
We think your brother has a point. You should seek vengeance against anything that hurt your mother.
*Arcel sighed aloud* That may be true, but tell me this dragon, was it this specific owl that hurt your mother? *looks at it* And what was your mother doing when the owl somehow hurt it, its not often an owl is able to harm a dragon, was she perhaps threatening it or its family?
White Dragon: The owl was sneaky. It teamed up with a bunch of other creatures and used magic to hurt our mother. She only wanted what was best for the owl and the other creatures, but they trusted the snake and thought she was evil.

Black Dragon: NO! I want it as a pet! It’s cute!
*he blinked again, going to psychology, these two obviously represented the conflicting feelings towards Twilight, though why they were dragons, and why Twilight was represented by an owl he had no idea, the colors also seemed reversed to him, but that was probably prefferance, so he began* Why would you want to eat an owl, isn’t that just an unfilling snack to a dragon such as yourself? *he started, glancing at Nightmare*

White Dragon: Nope.
Black Dragon: We don’t.

Well, that didn’t work. Should We try more drastic measures to gain their attention?
*swallows nervously* Well it couldn’t hurt, as long as we are careful about it, they are after all, Dragons.
Let’s try this.
*Her horn glows as she summons an illusory megaphone. She shouts into it.*
HEY! DRAGONS! WHY ARE YOU FIGHTING!?
*The dragons stop fighting and look at her curiously.*
White Dragon: Because I want to eat the owl we found.
Black Dragon: And I want to keep it as a pet.
*Now that the dragons are no longer fighting, they notice a tiny owl cowering in one of the recesses of the room.*

Well, at least We will arrive at Our destination without any trouble.
*Moving quickly through the simple maze, Arcel and Nightmare Moon soon arive at its centre. A room in the shape of a six-pointed star lies at the labrynth’s heart. Inside the room, they discover two young dragons, one with white scales and one with black scales. They are locked in combat, wrestling against each other.*
*Arcel’s jaw drops, eyes wide* What in the…. *steps back, not making the connection with the 6 pointed star yet* nightmare…. why are there dragons in your mind?
We… We don’t know… But if they’re in Our mind, they must represent something about Us…
