We aren’t saying there couldn’t be a male ruler of Equestria one day. What We are saying, however, is that a pony shouldn’t be considered for rulership simply because they happen to be a male of the royal bloodline. A ruler should prove themselves as such, preferably by overthrowing the previous holder of the throne.
