((I’m not saying I’m thinking of leaving now or anything, but… something Avengermod said has been bothering me, too, and that’s how impossible it is to get people to RP in an RP community. Even with established RP partners, I nearly always seem to be the one initiating action, and about half the time I don’t even get a response. It’s been sapping my initiative as well. The recent blitz of RP asks over the last few days is an exception, but nearly all of those were Avenger, so…
And it doesn’t help that I’m having an even lower success rate at getting responses to romance RPs; it’s a kind of plotline I like, something fairly standard in RPing, and something pretty vital for trolls, even if those trolls do happen to be ponies. I have twelve characters. It has been ridiculously impossible to find a love interest for even one of them. Again, Avenger was the exception. As a matter of fact when she started flirting with Equius I thought MAYBE it was going to start being SLIGHTLY less like building a house of cards in an earthquake, but I guess not. Now the only other romantic plotline I have left is ZimXNepeta.
Take a moment to let that statement sink in. It’s kind of like saying “All I have for the reconstruction project is Godzilla”.
Basically the point I’m trying to make is I have no idea what to do now. Plotlines fall apart faster than I can put them together. I guess I’m asking for advice, ideas for a plotline. Maybe volunteers so I don’t spend the next month trying to start an RP and get the rug yanked out from under me. Anyone?))
