((ooc: It was his interpretation of Soarin’s character. I asked him about it OOC a few times. He played Soarin as an insecure, image and popularity obsessed celebrity who whined about things ‘for the good of the foals’ because that was part of his public persona.
The problem came from everypony assuming that was who he was, but it was all Soarin the character.))
