*seems positively extatic from the contact, but keeps it together* Well… each of the branches has a few main positions, there are of course the initiates, members, and elder members depending on how long a pony has been with us.
The more specific jobs include the local book keeper, the recruiters(at least 1 per branch), the Scroll Keepers who record the minutes from each meeting, the Keeper of Knowledge who is the one mainly responsible for passing down the knowedge of you, and the Watchers, who are responsible for keeping the knowledge of the cult secret.
The top of each branch has the Master and Disciples of the Moon, they make up a small council of sorts, most have 3(1 master and 2 disciples, but our largest branch actually has 7 of them, on top of that, the Master is known as the First Chair, and each disciple below them is titled similarly, so I am the lowest of the council of my branch. They are the ones the preside over each branch and communicate between them.
There is an annual meeting of the Masters and Disciples which takes place in Manehatten, where the Grand Master stays. The last position is one I don’t know much about, the Archivist, he is always present at the Master Meetings, but never any others, apparently he is the only one that holds the original texts of the cult, and the only one allowed to read them to keep them safe. *she nods a bit* Kind of a creepy pony that one… n-not that there is anything creepy about being devoted your Majesty.
Hmm… The structure you describe is vastly different from the original. Originally, there were seven ranks, or degrees, which a pony could attain, plus the zeroth degree (prospective member). We suppose We can see the logic in removing some of the middlepony ranks.
