It’s all too shiny and colourful. It clashes with Our aesthetic themes.
We use quite a bit of Neighponese electronics, of course (who doesn’t?), but We generally remove them from their garish casings, and install them in more somber packagings.

The true source of all strength lies in either fear or hate.
This is one of her better ones, I think.
She’s going to steal Twoey’s remains (specifically his skull) from the Royal Guards’ tombs, then use it in a rite to bind him to her control (removing him from Arcelia’s control in the process). Then, she intends to bolster Twoey’s power with her own and order him to act like an out-of-control rogue undead, killing some helpless orphans or something equally flamboyant, before turning him loose on Arbor. Just before Twoey kills Arbor, NMM will step in and make a big show out of defeating and destroying him, then of saving Arcelia from the aftershocks of said destruction.
This will make Arcelia feel like she owes NMM her and Arbor’s life, and that the preceding destruction was all her own fault. She will then, most likely, gladly accept NMM’s offer of training in how to control her powers properly to prevent further incidents, and think nothing of the binding oath of service NMM will extract in exchange for such training…

Not necessarily. The shock to her will be severe, of course. However, if Our magic cushions her through the initial shock, it’s quite possible to live a long, reasonably healthy life with only half a soul.
