Basically, Our idea would be to have a portal gem, charged but inactive and linked to another gem in Our castle, that could be carried by Our agents and then activated in the field for quick escapes.

I used to chuckle and shake my head at people who claimed Microsoft was worse than Oracle. Bad, sure, but how could anyone be more of a fuckup than Oracle and still be in business? I guess I should have actually tried developing something for one of their platforms before I made my judgements.
Seriously Microsoft, what the fuck!? Not only does your OS have the worst paging and caching system I have ever seen (and I’ve developed for Apple’s System 7. Yes, your system is actually worse than having no paging and caching), but you specifically removed bits of the C system APIs (standard on every other modern platform) that would have allowed the end programmer to maybe fix some of your mess!
So yeah, WHAT THE BLEEDING FUCK!?
