You don’t know very much about mares, do you?
For the first problem, it’s better to tell her now, and get it out in the open immediately, rather than for you two to keep stringing each other along under false pretences. If she doesn’t want a relationship and you do, it will hurt less now than it would if it comes out after you’ve been together for a while.
For the second, if she loves you, and is the sort of mare that is any good at all, she will not care if you are poor, and will make do with what you can manage. Marriage and children should be delayed, of course, until you two can afford it, but a relationship can begin immediately.

Oh, don’t worry, synxes are actually quite weak. They hunt with stealth and a poisoned touch. Though it could easily swallow you, We doubt it could actually throw you.

She and her workers (‘trolls’, they call themselves) are aliens, refugees from some sort of cataclysm. We’ve taken them under Our wing, and they have helped Us greatly in return.

We don’t think your fabric body would be very appetising to him. Or particularly digestible, should it come to that. He’d probably just spit you back up.
If you’re willing to take the job, We’d be willing to offer you as much as, say, two-thirds minimum wage.
