I know the above is a dress uniform, but Nazi field uniforms were stylish and useless as well. They actually managed the unlikely feat of crafting uniforms that were unsuitable for nearly every climate on earth.

Historically, the subjects of a monarchy (especially the nobility) were very unwilling to accept a merely designated heir if somepony of legitimate royal blood was available (even going so far as to put a severely mentally disabled or outright insane person on the throne). She might be able to get away with designating Luna her heir, though.))
