The Cult of Smooze is actually rather useful to Us. They serve as a nice annoyance to the sun-hag, and have not (so far) interfered in Our plans at all.

We’ve encountered that silly rumour several times since Our return. While it is true that one of the traditional offerings to gain Our favour was chocolate, We’ve never eaten anypony for being stingy with it.
Personally, if We had to keep one false rumour about Ourselves, We would have preferred that it was the one that claimed We snuck into colts’ bedrooms and had Our way with them whilst they slept. At least that one was somewhat amusing.
